I have had a Maroon Clownfish for some time now in my Red Sea Max 250 tank, from the time it was very small. The Clownfish was tank raised and I am not sure if it was ever exposed to an Anemone before coming to my tank. I, like most people, enjoy watching Clownfish in Anemones but didn’t want to have one in my tank since Anemones’ tentacles sting and I didn’t want it killing my corals. The Anemone is an animal and will move around on it’s own to find optimal light and water flow in the aquarium, so even if I place it in a safe place, it may “walk” to another spot that can cause harm.
